Testimonials - Musicality and Singing Classes
Ilaria Bonavita, Italia (ukulele classes)
"I had weekly ukulele classes with Michael for one trimester, and I can confidently say he is an excellent teacher. He is passionate about both music and teaching, always professional, and at the same time very friendly and approachable.
What I valued most was his ability to explain musical concepts in a way that was both simple and precise and his ability to quickly tune in to the group’s needs, identifying the key areas to focus on, while ensuring that everyone stayed engaged, challenged, and enjoyed the process.
I especially appreciated the way he helped us understand rhythm and musicality in an intuitive, physical way, which made learning feel natural and fun. Michael managed to create an atmosphere where learning was not only effective but also relaxed and enjoyable."
Guilia Barbero Vignola, president of the JRC Dance Club, Italia
"As the president of the JRC Dance Club, I would like to testify to the quality of the teachings of Michaël, as I participated myself in some of the classes he taught in our association in his annual course “A Singing Journey: learning musicality through polyphonic singing and movement”.
It was visible Michaël always came to the lessons well prepared and with a clear plan. He was nevertheless very quick to adapt on the spot when the situation asked for it. His teaching style, mixing and alternating between deep concentration and playfulness, allowed the participants to be challenged in their learning path while enjoying themselves thoroughly.
The organisation and design of Michaël's courses was appreciated, as he took great care in teaching skills one by one before slowly putting them together in a progressive way, always moving towards the objective one step at a time.
Besides the effectiveness of Michaël as a teacher, his clear vision of a group going on a "learning journey" together participated in creating a remarkably joyful and supportive atmosphere amongst the participants.
Based on that experience, I would wholeheartedly recommend Michaël as a teacher."

Michela, Italia (ukulele classes)
"I attended for a few months a course in English in Ispra, Italy, lead by Michael for learning polyphonic music, I like singing but never attended a course before, so I gave it a try and I have to say I was really impressed by the teaching method.
Micheal is passionate and patient and leads you to learning without really studying or knowing the notes, a mix of body exercises to relax the body and help sing more easily using some simple short meaningless songs with the right tones to practise and learn .
I have to say in the few months of course the group already obtained results, even without studying or understanding the technical things of singing (starting from point zero). Unfortunately Micheal left the country for new experiences , I am sure he can pass his passion for Thai massage and music to his next students with his innovative methods."

Corrado, Italia (Singing Journey classes): as this is written like a poem in the Italian language, I leave it as it is!

Mirta Zupan, Italia (ukulele classes)
"I learnt ukulele in the spring of 2025. I played violin as a child and followed the classical music school path, which never really resonated with me because it felt quite strict, and that’s why I eventually stopped. But I always loved music and musicality and wanted to start again, and I’m really happy I did with Michael.
It was a group ukulele lesson and he made it so fun — never boring, and genuinely exciting to learn. I really loved the group setting and the way he teaches: instead of just explaining notes, he makes you feel the music and the rhythm. I loved that feeling of experiencing the music with our whole body, and the whole group together.
I also really enjoyed the style of songs we learned, and almost a year later I still like to play them. For me, I also appreciated that it’s something without screens, where you are really present in the moment, enjoying it and feeling like you’re creating something nice."
